Cuban-Style Pork Tenderloin

This is another slow cooker recipe, although it is a two-stepper.

Ingredients:

2 pork tenderloins

2 tblsp olive oil

1 large onion, sliced

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp oregano

2 bay leaves

1/2 cup dry white cooking wine

1. Place half of the sliced onion on the bottom of the slow cooker.

2.Rub the salt, pepper and spices on the tenderloins while the oil is heating in a skillet on medium high.  Sear the tenderloins in the skillet. Transfer them to the slow cooker and then place the other half of the sliced onion on top of them.

3. Pour the cooking wine over them and add the bay leaves into the liquid. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
